How do I get more Likes on facebook?

How do I get more Likes on facebook?

Have a facebook page but can’t seem to generate a lot of likes and engagement? Not sure how to increase your number of page likes? How do all those other companies do it?

postreachYou’re not alone. Many businesses and people are stumped about how to increase popularity of their facebook page and get more likes. “How do those other companies do it??” or “How did they manage to get over 1000 likes on facebook??” are common questions I am asked almost weekly. While there is no single strategy that will increase the number of likes of your facebook page, one method will definitely help:

facebook promoted posts are one of the best ways to increase the number of likes on your facebook page, increase engagement, page reach and increase traffic to your website. Simple.

Promoted posts are an inexpensive way to boost your articles to thousands of people who otherwise would not have known about your business, facebook page or services. However, it’s not as simple as slapping a link on your facebook page and clicking ‘boost post’. Like Google Adwords, the quality of the promotion is extremely important. Make sure to promote a product or service that people are interested in, or even an article you have on your blog that will generate interest and actually encourage people to click and read more.

page-likesFor example, Evolution in DesignZ is currently promoting our ‘enter to win a free website’ competition on facebook, using promoted posts. In less then 3 days, the article has reached 25,400 new people and has received 713 likes (which is currently more than the total number of likes we have on facebook!). However, the page itself is receiving more and more likes almost hourly. Now you may be thinking “Ok, but how does that help my business? I don’t sell anything on facebook”. Think of it this way:

100 people like your business page on facebook. Each of those 100 people have over 300 friends; you now have a potential audience of 30,000 people. As the number of ‘likes’ on your facebook page grows, so does your potential audience, and most importantly, your potential customer list.

Now it’s starting to make sense, right?
